Glasses Button

At this time, the digital design was often enjoyed. Both by the beginner and that has been expert. Techniques that were applied also various things.

In this article I wrote the techniques in making the vector design. I just tried this technique on July 21 2008. Did not care about this technique has been or not yet. And definitely still many other techniques that easier than this one. I was using the Corel Draw application to make the vector image.

I will make a glasses button. Pay attention to this technique:
1. Open the application.

2. Create a new page(file>new).

3. Create a square using "rectangle tool". Place it on the center of the page(just hit "P" button).

4. We will modifying it to rounded square. With "shape tool", create a curve on its corners. Just pull the node on its corner.

5. Write a word(or a sentence if you need :>) with "text tool". Again, place it on the center of the page. Give the gradation to a square(ex: red gradation) with this settings: type linier and angle 90 degrees.

6. activate the square and make it duplicated(ctrl+D). Then you need to resize it about 95% from the original size. Give white color for the duplicate.

7. Give the transparent effect from the menu effect>lens, To the window that appears choose Transparency, rate=75.

8. Create a new long square so as it divide the transparent square for a half. And choose the two squares(the new squares and the old one). click the "trim" button.

9. This is the glasses button we have create, or you can see another version on the page header

Monalisa Smile

Mona Lisa (also known as La Gioconda) is a 16th century portrait painted in oil on a poplar panel by Leonardo da Vinci during the Italian Renaissance. The work is owned by the French government and hangs in the Musée du Louvre in Paris, France with the title Portrait of Lisa Gherardini, wife of Francesco del Giocondo.

The painting is a half-length portrait and depicts a woman whose expression is often described as enigmatic. The ambiguity of the sitter's expression, the monumentality of the half-figure composition, and the subtle modeling of forms and atmospheric illusionism were novel qualities that have contributed to the painting's continuing fascination. Few other works of art have been subject to as much scrutiny, study, mythologizing and parody.

Indonesian culture

Indonesian culture has been shaped by long interaction between original indigenous customs and multiple foreign influences. Indonesia is central along ancient trading route between the farr east and the middle east, resulting in many cultural practices being strongly influenced by a multitude of religions, including Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Confucianism, all strong in the major trading cities. The result is a complex cultural mixture very different from the original indigenous cultures.

Examples of cultural fusion include the fusion of Islam with Hindu in Javanese Abangan belief, the fusion of Hinduism, Buddhism and animism in Bodha, and the fusion of Hinduism and animism in Kaharingan; others could be cited.

Indonesian art-forms express this cultural mix. Wayang, traditional theater-performed puppet shows, were a medium in the spread of Hinduism and Islam amongst villagers of Java. Both Javanese and Balinese dances have stories about ancient Buddhist and Hindu kingdoms, while Islamic arts forms and architecture are present in Sumatra, especially in the Minangkabau and Aceh regions. Traditional art, music and sport are combined in a martial art form called Pencak silat.

Western culture has influenced Indonesia most in modern entertainment such as television shows, movies and songs. India has notably influenced Indonesian songs and movies. A popular type of song is the Indian-rhythmical dangdut, which is often mixed with Arab and Malay folk music.

Despite the influences of foreign culture, some remote Indonesian regions still preserve uniquely indigenous culture. Indigenous ethnic groups of Mentawai, Asmat, Dani, Dayak, Toraja and many others are still practising their ethnic rituals, customs and wearing traditional clothes.
